Gymnastics for Children with Special Needs

             We are pleased to be able to offer a permanent class on Saturday mornings for Children with special needs and also their brothers and sisters. The class is 45 minutes long and caters for children with physical or intellectual impairments.

               Each week, our coach will set up a different circuit for children to explore with focus areas such as balancing, climbing, jumping, landing and much more. Also, children will get some free time to explore the other apparatus in the gym.

               Parents / carers are expected to help their children during the class. One coach will be co-ordinating the class and explaining the activities, so parents will help their children complete the activities for the lesson.  

               The cost is $11 per child per lesson but payable by the term eg: a 10 week term will cost $110 (we follow the NSW Public School Terms - so classes will not be held during School holidays). We recognise that this is also an opportunity for brothers and sisters to participate in regular sport, so one sibling (with or without special needs) will also be allowed to attend the class free. Any additional family members will need to pay the regular rate of $10.

               Registration is Annual membership and Insurance with Gymnastics Australia (per calendar year) and must be paid with fees on the second visit. The Cost is $50 per child.

               

               The class is held on Saturdays 8:15am - 9:00am
