IDEAL Testing for our little IDP Gymnasts!

Monday, April 08, 2013

Our IDP 1, 2 and 3 Gymnasts made the trip to Sydney Olympic Park Gymnastics on Sunday 7th April to undergo IDEAL Skills testing.

IDEAL testing involves taking the gymnasts through a range of skills across Beam, Bars, Floor, Vault and Trampoline, where they are scored for each skill performed. The results are used in a long term database that will track the gymnasts progression over their Gymnastics career. Once the gymnast progresses past IDP3, the results are then handed over to, and monitored by, the junior National Development coach, Jo Richards.
